Murals

IMG_7932.jpg

Hey, this page is to showcase my murals. I only got into painting walls recently, its been something I have hugely admired and wish it was more seen in the public eye. As I truly believe that our surrounding are vital and have a big input in our way of thinking, in a positive way. I try to achieve this in my  murals, try to bring colour and vibrancy, that I hope my clients can use. If you like my work, please don't hesitate to get in contact with me. My email is below and look forward to speaking to you.

Kitchen

This is the largest wall that Ive painted to date, with the measurements being 8 foot in height and over 20 foot in width. My instant feeling of what to paint, was a moonlight scene, I have some moments walking on a beach in this time period of the day and benefited from the calmness. I love seeing the moon lite up the the ocean ripples, so I went for a an abstract and indigenous inspired sea shapes, to try and express that feeling. I wanted to keep that nature feel, so I added the mountains and a curve effect, that leads to a forest. My hopes are when people see this mural, is that, it brings a smile, with the image itself, but also the romantic couple sitting on the beach. But also, to bring joy, celebrating nature and because it’s in the kitchen/living room area, which is a mixture of productivity and rest, I hope the painting I have made fits well in its environment.

Bedroom

With the bedroom, we all know how important this space is, especially in the last few years, with the lockdown. Our home surroundings have become crucial. where once we would maybe treat it as a place to sleep and awake up to, it has changed has changed now and I wanted to make something that my clients could look at and hopefully escape, go to a place that could help destress and bring some vibrancy. The thought of laying in bed and struggling to sleep, but looking at the painting, I hope that it will help people drift away into their dreams.

Bathroom

I struggle with rooms that have no windows, so i thought I’d paint a balcony scene view. So that when you walk into the room, it feels as though your standing on the balcony and looking at the mountains, with a river running down it. I also went for upbeat colours, because as we all know, its best to be relaxed while using the toilet!
